The day my mother and father took me home from the hospital, my father took me for a boat ride down Guntersville Lake, part of the Tennessee River System. I believe this event helped to define who I am as a bass angler. As a child, our family always took vacations on lakes in the Southern states. As a teen, I spent my summer days on private lakes below my home. Eight years ago, my father and I started bass tournaments and trails. Among the trails were, Guys and Dolls, Cartersville Couples, Sportsman’s Paradise and Gary Yamamoto. These trails have taken us down many southern rivers including Murry, Santee Cooper and Hartwell in South Carolina, Beaver Lake in Arkansas, Chicamauga and Hickory in Tennessee, Seminole in Florida, the Columbia River in Kentucky and almost every river and lake in Alabama.. I’ve qualified for 3 Classics and finished in 8th place in two of those Classics: Santee Cooper, NC & Beaver Lake, AK. In 2002 my father and I fished Cartersville Couples tour in 2nd Place. I’ve won Big Bass on 4 Alabama Lakes, Guntersville, Logan Martin, Neely Henry, Weiss, and one Georgia Lake, West Point. more...click here. |
